EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Scaffolding and Rigging New Zealand (SARNZ) and the Scaffolding, Rigging and Industrial Rope Industries Training Association (SRIIT) are seeking expressions of interest from our members who are interested in sitting on the committee for the SARNZ and SRIIT partnership.
As our organizations work together to promote the highest standards of training, certification, and professional development in the scaffolding, rigging and industrial rope industries, we are looking for individuals who can bring valuable insights and experience to the several committees. Committee members would be expected to meet once a month online to oversee all projects under the partnership with sub committees being created shortly thereafter for each project.
Scope: Proposal areas of video content creation:
- Level 3 modules (on job units + off job units)
- Working around powerlines
- Tube and Clip modules - Modules would include a minimum of the following: 1. Lay out Gear 2. Base out 3. Base out return 4. Braces 5. Plank out
- Verifier support – For our smaller to med size businesses, we see many struggle in this space and we understand that for those who haven’t gone through the NZQA system before, it can be overwhelming. We see they are needing just as much support as the learners and the better resourced the verifier is, the better resourced our learners are. These videos will give them a clear overview of their role as a verifier, potential ways to be as productive as possible in this space and how they can best help their learner.
- Level 4 modules (post creation of Level 3)
If you have a passion for advancing the interests of our industries and would like to be considered for the committee, please submit your expression of interest outlining your relevant experience and skills, and how they relate to the committee's work.
