Apply for the Scaffolding Inspection Course

Before you begin:

Purpose:

This training provides those involved in general site safety an understanding of the principles of what to look for to determine if a scaffold is safe and fit for purpose. The training also explains the regulations and includes a theory test and practical inspection. It is designed for those with little/no knowledge around scaffolding or who would like to be more confident in their knowledge. 

Ideal for:

Those wanting to gain a greater understanding of how to be a ‘Competent person’ and all who are involved or will be involved in conducting general workplace inspections
i.e. builders/contractors/health and safety managers

Please note this is SARNZ run course, there is no New Zealand Qualification delivered with this. You will get a Certificate of Completion for this course issued by SARNZ.

Fees:

• Price is $500.00 incl GST.
• There is a 2.95% credit card processing fee if paying by credit card.

Course details:
 

• A SARNZ instructor will supply a copy of the GPG to be used during the course, to be returned at the end. A digital copy will be provided with booking confirmation email. 
• We require a minimum group of 4, max 10, to run the course.
• Once class numbers are made for your location, we will be in contact to confirm dates. We will be running courses several times a month.
• There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Cancellation:

The following cancellation fees apply if you cancel the event:

• If the assessment is rescheduled at no fault of SARNZ then any costs (such as travel costs) incurred in rescheduling will be chargeable.
• If a confirmed course is cancelled within 7 days a cancellation fee of $250 + GST will be chargeable.
• If a confirmed course is cancelled within 48 hrs, any travel costs will be additional to the cancellation fee.
