This assessment requires the person to have a relatively good understanding of Rigging operations in NZ regardless of their previous work experience. This assessment does not just assess them at the higher level but also the elementary level, often the elementary work is something some experienced workers are not as familiar with.

Fees for Recognition for Rigging CoC
Fee for CoC (if Recognition for Rigging CoC is successful)
Upon successful completion of the Recognition for Rigging CoC process, SARNZ will send an invoice for $112.00 (including GST) for the relevant NZ Certificate to be issued. This is $92.00 for the Certificate and a $20.00 administration fee.
If the assessment is rescheduled at no fault of SARNZ then any costs (such as travel costs) incurred in rescheduling will be chargeable.
If a confirmed assessment is cancelled within 7 days a cancellation fee of $250 + GST will be chargeable.
Terms & Information
Assessments are carried out by an approved assessor on behalf of SARNZ. The assessor will contact you directly regarding a time and location for your assessment.
You will need to bring to the course if a VOC is required a full toolbelt/kit and full PPE (harness lanyard etc). Please note that candidates must be ready to be assessed as it is a closed book assessment and not a training course.
When SARNZ has received confirmation from the assessor that you have met the requirements, we will invoice you for the Certificate of Competence as per above.
